Mark Wheeler Residential Design is a full-service residential design firm located in Long Beach, California and serving the Greater Southern California residential market.
Our residential design incorporates a tapestry of Southern California architecture -- from the classic Bungalow and Spanish Colonial Revival styles of Long Beach, to the beachfront and beach-oriented homes of Seal Beach, Surfside, Sunset and Huntington Beach, to the sprawling estate homes of Newport Beach, Corona del Mar and Shady Canyon -- maximizing home function, creating beautiful spaces and facades, and getting the most from the property's location and attributes.
We understand that it's often difficult to communicate your ideas, your needs and desires for the future into a architectural design that works. With more than 200 past projects, Mark will ask the questions that help you define your vision. He understands the features and concepts you might not even be aware you need or want. He's adept at extracting the thoughts and visions you hold but can't quite communicate, and turning them into tangible, functional, beautiful residential designs that you will love for years to come.
Over the past 15 years, Mark Wheeler has carefully, thoughtfully and personally designed more than 200 custom homes, renovations and remodels for happy, contented clients.
Although based in Long Beach and focused primarily on homes in Long Beach, Seal Beach, Huntington Beach, Newport Beach and surrounding coastal communities, Mark's work can be found throughout California, from San Diego to the Bay Area and even out of state in Utah, Texas, and North Carolina. His emphasis on comfortable, casual, efficient living in architecturally significant surroundings has proven to be a great fit everywhere.
Mark degreed in European History and Art History at Vanderbilt University, spent four years in the Bachelor of Architecture program at the University of Southern California and one year in the Masters of Architecture program at the University of Miami.
Mark's enjoys providing clients with solutions to their goals, visually interpreting their thoughts and dreams into architecturally significant results that fit their needs and that make sense.
